Dungeons & Dragons vs church

Years ago, before I started going to FAPC, a co-worker invited me to play Dungeons & Dragons (D&D) after an Oracle seminar. I knew how long this game can be so I declined.

Someone told me about a week ago, that maybe I wouldn’t be going to church every Sunday if I’d started playing D&D. Understanding that I sometimes crave for human interaction, that annoying comment could’ve been correct. Whether or not I would’ve opted for D&D instead of church, I’d never know since that ship sailed long ago.

In any case, this same co-worker gave me his old starter kit of D&D a couple of weeks ago (sort of a Christmas present for my kids). Since my three-year-old likes Zelda, he might get a kick out of that game too, but first I need to get a nice set of 20-sided dices (D20′s).

We’re such a lot of NERDS!
