hazmat & the city

After 9/11 this city’s become like the Wild West. Seeing law enforcement officers with guns and/or rifles in hand has become the norm.

This afternoon I left work only to see a hazardous materials (hazmat) truck (FDNY) and several patrol cars (NYPD) with their emergency lights on. Needless to say (type), seeing all this left me curious and worried at the same time, but I’ve got the impression that news outlets won’t hear about this.
