in response to critics saying that Alexis Wineman shouldn’t use the term “autism” but rather “apergers” or “high functioning autistic”

“In any case, we should support this contestant. Maybe putting a face with the word ‘autism’ might open doors to others, especially getting proper medical therapies for autistic children.”
