horoscopes

Perhaps the whole myth of horoscopes and the belief that someone’s fate’s controlled by some mysterious power from planets and stars is a form of and/or part of a faith system.

“WHATEVER ZODIAC SIGN (TODAY’S DATE):
Today you’ll meet the love of your life.
If you don’t pay attention,
you’ll miss the opportunity to ever meet him/her.”

As much as I try not to offend anyone, I must say that I believe horoscopes are a mere sham. The only way planets and/or other objects in the cosmos may affect us is by the sheer gravity they possess or its hit-or-miss trajectory with earth.

Then again, if it were indeed related to a belief system, which one could that be? I hope it’s not related to Paganism since I find Pagan magical beliefs, stories and traditions very interesting.

As usual, I might simply be too much of a stupid geek for my own good. Nonetheless I just stated my sole Christian and logical belief.
