TX Bill No HB2454

This is strangely exciting in a nation that seems to be afraid to express its religious freedom and hence the ability to worship any god of choice and/or faith system.

“Relating to prohibiting discrimination by public institutions of higher education against faculty members and students based on their conduct of research relating to intelligent design.”

This act — if passed — would mean that Christian professors at least in Texas could openly express their opinion on the creation of the world and life by God without feeling threatened of being fired, ridiculed and/or any other form of discrimination. For a nation founded by Christians, we’re only allowed to learn the theory that the cosmos came out of no where with an explosion (Big Bang) and that life on earth came out of some puddle of enzymes by pure chance (Primordial Soup).
