Insha’Allah

Kaaba at nightThe Moors controlled Spain for almost 400 tears starting on 711 AD. Many Arabic words became part of the Castilian dialect (now known as the Spanish language). One of those words or expressions is Insha’Allah that roughly translates as Allah willing (God willing). In Spanish, it became ojalá — a heavily used expression that most Spanish speakers have no idea what it means, other than an expression of hope (adv. hopefully).
