rants: the global warming messiah selling out America

Many consider Al Gore some sort of savior (a messiah) because of his carbon footprint charades — not to mention being called the creator of the internet (what a sham). Gore used the PMRC (headed by then-wife, Tipper Gore, 1985) for political gain, then became vice-president (1993-2001), lost his bid for presidency (2000), complained about global warming, made millions as an environmentalist wanna-be, founded one of the most liberal cable channels by the name Current TV (2005) and now sold it to Al-Jazeera, which will create Al Jazeera America prompting cable TV service provider Time Warner Cable to drop the channel.

Al Gore Sells Current TV to Al-Jazeera
The Arabic news network Al-Jazeera has bought U.S. cable channel Current TV, co-founded by former Vice President Al Gore.”

He made $500 million selling out his mediocre channel to a company that many relate to the infamous Osama bin-Laden tapes after 9/11.

Al Gore sells Current TV to Al-Jazeera, nets reported $100 million
But while Al-Jazeera will now be available in millions more American homes, it will not be seen on the nation’s second-largest TV operator, Time Warner Cable, as they dropped Current TV immediately after the sale became final.”

Gore’s a traitor to the American people, but he’d still be defended by many (especially by those dying to kill me after reading this post). Maybe GOD IS (really) DEAD.

For the record, the real creator of the internet is Sir Timothy John “Tim” Berners-Lee (TimBL).

According to my understanding, Internet is created by the US military with the aim of ensuring constant communication in the event of mass destruction causes by a nuclear warfare, definitely not Al Gore.

The army created the ARPANET (Advanced Research Projects Agency Network), which ran from 1968 to 1990.

“Senator Albert Gore, Jr. began to craft the High Performance Computing and Communication Act of 1991 (commonly referred to as ‘The Gore Bill’) after hearing the 1988 report toward a National Research Network submitted to Congress by a group chaired by Leonard Kleinrock, professor of computer science at UCLA. The bill was passed on 9 December 1991 and led to the National Information Infrastructure (NII) which Al Gore called the ‘information superhighway’.”

We could say that the ARPANET was the “parent” of the internet. For a lack of a better expression, the ARPANET just outgrew its purpose. CERN (European Organization for Nuclear Research) has more to do with the creation of the internet when it booted the first web server.
