Vacation Bible School (Study): day 5

Vacation Bible School (Study)Today’s the last day of VBS. It’s bitter-sweet. It’s the last day of playing, doing arts and crafts, meeting new kids and making new friends and hopefully learning a little bit about the Bible — his first chance to step out on his own. At the same time, I know that I’d miss my little boy next Monday morning — no donuts from 7-Eleven, no riding the bus to church and seeing him play and grow independently.

I’d personally like to publicly thank

  1. hyperactive Ms Emma,
  2. music teacher and college professor Ms Eugenia,
  3. teachers Ms Beth (visiting from Georgia), Ms Ann and Ms Jane,
  4. director of family services Ms Aram
  5. and my son’s new friend Luke.

The picture on this post shows the items that the children gathered for the Back-to-School program.
